This course has been developed to provide an understanding of workplace stress and a range of strategies to help learners to manage their stress.
There are three main parts to the training:
- an explanation of what stress is and how it can negatively affect performance and wellbeing
- workplace triggers of stress and strategies for managing them, and
- strategies the learner can apply beyond the workplace to help balance their stress.
Key elements in the training have been designed to encourage the learner to consider that the various strategies are suggestions and not to feel pressured that they must or should try to adopt them all.
